WORDS OF WISDOM

There is one thing that forces us to stay in cyclic existence. That is self-grasping. This self-grasping is not an external possession. With self-grasping, comes greed, anger and ignorance. Often we become greedy, angry, ignorant, lazy and jealous because of self-grasping. If there is no self-grasping, can we become greedy? Can we become angry and hateful? It is not possible.

After performing virtuous deeds, whether it is reciting mantra, live release, or giving, one should dedicate according to the dharma. People who perform virtuous deeds create merit and can receive positive results. However, practitioners of Mahayana do not want to enjoy the positive results alone.
